Healing is one of the most important parts of any PMU service, yet many first-time clients are surprised by how much the result changes over time. Understanding the healing stages makes the process much less stressful.

Day one and two

The treated area often looks darker, bolder, and slightly swollen at first. This is normal and does not represent the final result.

Days three to seven

The skin may begin to flake or look uneven as the top layer heals. Clients should avoid picking because that can affect pigment retention and texture.

Weeks two to six

As healing finishes, the color softens and the shape becomes clearer. A touch-up session is often scheduled later to refine the final result.

Patience is part of PMU, and the healed result is always the one that matters most.
